MetCom currently employs a total staff of twenty professionals, including 8 Dispatchers, 3 Lead Dispatchers and 3 Dispatch Supervisors. These individuals are responsible for answering 911 calls from our citizens as well as dispatching fire and medical resources. In addition, they work on various special projects and committees such as Quality Assurance, Incident Dispatch, Community Education and Emergency Planning.
MetCom is supported by four IT specialists who are responsible for maintaining our state-of-the-art technology, including CAD and GIS mapping. Additionally, an Administrative Manager provides MetCom employees with payroll, benefits, accounting and a variety of other services.
MetCom is managed by the Executive Director. The Director is responsible for maintaining the center and ensuring its future growth and development.
